Lupe Fiasco Responds to Soulja Boy

Lupe Fiasco apparently took exception to Soulja Boy's recent claims that his lyrics are too complex for audiences to grasp. The Chicago rapper has released the tongue-in-cheek single "Super Lupe Rap," making sly references to Soulja Boy's complaint.

"Soulja call it Super Lupe Lyrical / You can't understand me or mimic my miracles," Fiasco rhymes in the song. "So don't be scared to take the Super Lu route, Top 5 Alive and I've only got two out. School you on your history, I'll tell you what you bout, fight for all the right things and let the Huey New out. Pharrell, what these n***** talkin' bout? Two man Big Pun, a one man Slaughterhouse, a two album Jay-Z, a one n**** Wu-Tang, a younger hungry Mos Def, a conscious rappin' Lil Wayne"

Soulja Boy said in his recent XXL cover story that he didn't want to be like Lupe Fiasco. "I don't want to be super-Lupe-Fiasco-lyrical and n*ggas don't know what the f*ck I'm talking about," he told the magazine.

I really wonder if souljah boy thinks he is lyrical at all? He should only wish he could match Lupe. He will never enter any hall of fame with his songs...NEVER!
